Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) and social media have combined to produce ground-breaking breakthroughs that are changing how content is produced, shared, and consumed. With an emphasis on topics including chatbot interactions, targeted advertising, and content personalization, this study investigates cutting-edge AI applications in social media platforms. Artificial intelligence (AI)-driven algorithms enable platforms to instantly evaluate massive datasets, maximizing user engagement and providing highly customized experiences. AI technologies are also being used more and more by influencers and businesses to improve campaign efficacy and audience targeting. These developments have numerous advantages, but they also bring up serious issues with privacy, algorithmic transparency, disinformation, and computer manipulation. This study explores the possibilities and moral dilemmas associated with the use of AI in social media. In navigating this changing digital landscape, it highlights the significance of algorithmic responsibility, governmental control, and user knowledge. The results should help researchers, developers, legislators, and digital marketers understand how social media will change in the future as AI becomes more integrated. As AI develops, it will only become more significant in influencing online conversations and digital relationships, calling for more research and ethical innovation.
